State of the Clan (Elkhorn): July
|

Starting today, every month I'll be doing a news article like this, talking about the status of the Clan. Koragg, I encourage you guys to do the same >.>Anyway. Since Godslayer released, and newness has worn off, the Clan has had some interesting changes:
- Clan Storyline, Tholgrim was defeated
- Svannah, Cultar, and Brandrid decided to leave the Clan and form their own
- We have significantly revamped our new member process, to correctly balance the amount of PVP/PVE/RP needed for new members to become kinsmen
A Couple things to note: Due to the fact that timing is a bit of a problem, we won't be requiring a lore quiz. It was a good idea, and it's fairly easy, but it was decided that since some folks do take longer, it wouldn't be 100% fair to force such a thing. That said, we'll be supplementing that with simply offering to help folks if they want to know the lore of Hyboria better.
Now then, we have a few exciting things to rev folks up as summer approached August.
We have a new event schedule! Be sure to check it out.
Keep in mind, that this event schedule is essentially a toolbox. Doing the events themselves will be fun, but in essence, it is simply a matter of offering you all the tools to use them, and craft the RP Drama of being a savage, and branching out into deeper plotlines, RP, friendships and so on. So take advantage of our schedule, and initiate some fun times! And on off days, do the same even then, if it is something you are wanting to do.

Clan Elkhorn Hosted T1 Raids

We've had two clan hosted T1 raids so far, and we will continue to host them on Sundays starting at 3pm EST.
Please be sure to read the Clan Events board for signups and more information regarding these weekly raids. If you have a character 75+ (does not need to be of the clan, any of your alts apply) please be sure to post your class, level, and character name.
We have had a few people that have singed up to participate, but have not attended the raids we've held. If you cannot make a raid, please post that as well, so I know who I can count on each week.
I will be leading on one of my three 80s - Svannah, Licinia, or Alchaeus.
Ahearn will be my co-leader on one of his 80s - Fearghus or Ahearn.
Please respect our raid rules, and most importantly have some fun!

Arviaur Federation

Another Cimmerian RP guild is joining our little community - the Arviaur Federation from the European Hyrkania RP-PvE server. Now we officially have roleplaying guilds from all three English-speaking RP servers, so I guess that's an achievement. 500 points for Tribes of the North.
Let's have a warm welcome for our Arviaur friends, and let me know if I accidentally broke something while setting up new forum sections. Crom's strength, use it well!
